Hi my name is Dee and thank you for stopping by my blog page. If you’re like me one of your new year’s resolution will be to find a way of maintaining a healthy weight without going on diets that make you feel miserable, starving and then throwing in the towel two weeks later.

The secret to fast weight loss is that you have to change your lifestyle by adopting new eating habits. If you want to lose weight permanently you have live a healthier lifestyle. It’s simple, change your eating habits and exercise more. Now simple doesn’t always equal easy and this is no different. I managed to change my life and there’s no reason why yours can’t change too!
I am really pleased with the progress I am making, but I have to admit I did it with some help by accessing lots of useful tips and information about healthy eating.
I decided to make some small changes. Firstly reduce the amount of food you are eating. This doesn’t mean starving yourself. It just means you don’t have to continue eating even though your body is telling you that you are full.
Secondly stop eating processed foods such as biscuits, chips, cakes etc. Attempt to cut out all sugary foods and white flours. You will find that just by eliminating these three things you will start to lose eight and feel a lot healthier.
Thirdly, start to exercise. Don’t make excuses because finding 20 to 30 minutes in your day to do some sort of intense activity will make a difference!
Lastly, drink water. Cut out all soft and fizzy drinks that are full of sugar. Funnily enough drinking water will also make you feel full which will be help in supporting you to eat less. Drink a minimum of 6 to 10 large glasses of water a day. If you have never drunk 6 glasses of water then start with two and build it up each week.
Weight loss is not easy and just by following these simple tips you will start to notice the difference in your energy levels, the way you feel and look. Adopting new habits takes discipline, commitment and motivation. By taking small steps one day at a time has an incremental effect. You won’t notice the difference the next day but over a period of weeks you will! Taking small steps will keep you motivated and committed and you’re less likely to give up.
Remember it’s not about losing weight quickly but about adopting new habits to healthy eating so that the weight loss is sustainable and long lasting.
